Tina Kammer

I have followed the developments in sustainability for more than 30 years. A cabinet maker at the very beginning of my career, I gained a solid knowledge about natural materials and their processing. After studying architecture I worked for Jestico + Whiles, an award winning architectural office in London, and realised projects for Warner Brothers in India as well as international hotel projects.

Back in Germany I was responsible for the corporate architecture worldwide for companies such as BMW, Mini and IBM. Later, at the headquarters of HUGO BOSS, it was my task to develop international shop concepts of different labels. At the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), I worked on drawing up a new certificate for sustainable buildings. Today, next to my work at InteriorPark., I am in the jury of the Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis, Focus Open, A’design Award and Green Product Award and an university lecturer at HFT (University of Applied Science) in Stuttgart. At lectures and workshops I gladly pass on my expertise to those who would like to carry sustainable architecture further to the future.

At InteriorPark. I lead architectural projects with a focus on healthy indoor climate, sustainable design concepts and brand architecture.

New ideas in the exciting overlap of sustainability and economy are my passion. As the assistant to the board in global companies such as Johnson & Johnson, SAP or HUGO BOSS, I had dealt with strategic decision-making processes over many years. It was there that I learned to think big and holistically. Through my many travels abroad, openness towards other cultures and lifestyles ever more became my natural understanding.

Over the last 10 years, I have ankered my interest in ecological design professionally. After sojourns to sustainable fashion and work at GREENshowroom, I now focus exclusively on environmentally efficient interior design solutions. Up to the end of 2016, I had been responsible for all commercial activities at InteriorPark.

Today I supervise the InteriorPark.com platform, organise events and, as a consultant, I specialise in the development and mediation of sustainable interior design with a focus on high-quality, natural and recyclable materials and products. In workshops I give a well-founded insight into current market developments and accompany pioneers of sustainability in their positioning. In addition, my tasks include advising on and preparing sustainability reports in accordance with the international standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
