The complete loft conversion of a maisonette apartment over two floors in the west of Stuttgart was carried out in 2004/2005. A redesign was due in 2020.
On the upper floor, the color white remained as a spatial concept and was supplemented by natural tones in off-white and beige. The green lamp above the glass table has been replaced by a bamboo lamp which, when lit, casts beautiful shadows on the surrounding walls thanks to its structure.
All doorhandles have been replaced with new ones. In order to underline the individual character of the apartment, the high-quality doorhandles 1267 by FSB made of pure bronze were chosen, the design of which pays homage to Mies van der Rohe. They are a new highlight on every door!
The wall colors on the lower floor were partially renewed. The original dark red bedroom is now bathed in noble dark blue and looks almost sacred thanks to the ceiling, which is also bathed in blue.
